Design Power and detail. The D 6LCR delivers both brilliantly. For instance, it can easily reproduce an F-14 jet taking off at levels that ought to require ear protection. At the same time, though, it delivers the sort of detail that makes it possible to hear softly spoken dialogue. This is due to the speaker’s unique 5-driver construction, with a 6.5-inch woofer placed on each side of the vertical array of midranges and tweeter. The side-by-side units in a D 6LCR also enhance the sound perception when you watch movies. It is always important to minimize the distance between the speaker and the screen; with a design like D 6 LCR, there’s never any doubt that the dialogue and the effects originate from the screen itself. The flat horizontal design (only 6 inches deep) makes it very easy to integrate a real high-performance cinema system into a living room. Technology The D 6LCR has five separate drivers: two 6.5-inch woofers provide deep bass; two 3.75-inch drivers for midrange, with one one-inch tweeter for treble.
